The exact version of the program causing these trouble is version 4.0.4102. And here is what you should do, if you would happen to have installed this version: Boot your computer and make it start Windows in "Safe Mode". This will prevent the McAfee program from executing upon startup. You can then disable McAfee VirusScan and reboot your computer.
